Knoxville Property Virgins is a creation of Ryan Levenson and his wife, Caroline. The goal of this blog is to inform, discuss and explain the Knoxville Real Estate market, throwing in some local flavor, as well. Although this blog is targeted at First Time Home-buyers, we hope the information is useful to everyone.

I complete the 3rd generation of Real Estate professionals in my family. My grandfather started in Real Estate before dirt was invented, with Powers Real Estate in Knoxville. Both of my parents, Rich and Patti, have been in business for over 30  years in town, 20+ of those with Re/Max Preferred Properties. While Rich manages and acts as our Principal Broker, Patti, Caroline and I help buyers and sellers in the Knoxville market and surrounding areas.

I am a Graduate of Webb School of Knoxville and went on to study International Business  and Spanish at the College of Charleston, in South Carolina, which is where Caroline and I met. At the time, she was a student at C of C as well, but in the midst of her studies, she decided to switch gears and transfer to Georgia Tech, where she majored in Industrial Engineering.

Post college, I moved to Steamboat Springs, Colorado for a couple of years. There I spent my time skiing, biking, fishing and building Energy-Efficient houses (LEED Homes).  I moved back to Knoxville and have been with Re/Max ever since. Caroline joined me in Knoxville after she graduated from Georgia Tech two years ago.

We have 2 dogs, Sawyer and Luna. Sawyer is a 2 year old Lab/Greyhound mix and Luna is a 1 year old  Black Lab. Both are very energetic and keep us very busy in our free time.  Both Sawyer and Luna may make some guest appearances throughout our postings.
