Knoxville Property Virgins is a creation of Ryan Levenson and his team. The goal of this blog is to inform, discuss and explain the Knoxville Real Estate market, throwing in some local flavor, as well. Although this blog is targeted at First Time Home-buyers, we hope the information is useful to everyone.
I complete the 3rd generation of Real Estate professionals in my family. My grandfather started selling real estate and building homes in the Knoxville area in the 60s and 70s, with Powers Real Estate in Knoxville. Both of my parents, Rich and Patti, have been in business for over 30 years in town, 20+ of those with Re/Max Preferred Properties. Rich and I share duties of being the Principal Brokers of 4 offices in the area – West Knoxville, North Knoxville, Seymour and Sevier County. We have some of the best and most productive agents in the Knoxville market and are very proud of every single one of them. I also list and sell homes, mainly in the Knox, Loudon, and Blount County markets… but I have been known to travel longer distances for my clients.
I am a Graduate of Webb School of Knoxville and went on to study International Business and Spanish at the College of Charleston, in South Carolina - where I met my wife, Caroline.
Post college, I moved to Steamboat Springs, Colorado for a couple of years. There I spent my time skiing, biking, fishing and building Energy-Efficient houses (LEED Homes). I moved back to Knoxville and have been with Re/Max ever since.
Sara McNally joined the team at start of 2013. She came to us first as a photographer and her job grew into the assistant extraordinaire. She handles many of the day to day issues, assists clients, photography of houses as well as any design projects. With a degree in art and no previous background in Real Estate she is able to offer a different perspective in the office; to add to the ‘killer combination’ she became licensed in Real Estate in February of 2015.
Caroline and I have 2 children, John Bodie and Eliza, who serve as our motivation to get up and work every day. We wouldn’t be the people we are today without these 2 adorable children.
We hope to make the home-buying process as smooth and painless as possible. With the technology we have available for our clients’ use, our knowledge of the market and transaction process and willingness to do work hard for YOU, we hope to continue to provide a high level of client care and pleasant real estate experience.
Please enjoy the blog and we look forward to helping!
